As a Presidential appointee, Nashad currently serves as a USDA Climate Fellow, where he provides oversight and advisory solutions for the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP), driving initiatives that enhance rural economic development through renewable energy and energy efficiency. In his role as Director of Carbon Strategy at GRŌ FARM, Nashad has spearheaded transformative projects in urban agriculture, food security, and workforce development.
